First Sunday of Advent: Outdoor Sculpture in Rome
This is the 10th year that I am creating a Roman Advent Calendar. During these years I have enjoyed sharing windows, doors, gates, and stairs of Rome. I have also presented angels, modern churches, horses, fountains and street art. This year my Advent Calendar will have examples of outdoor sculpture in the city of Rome. (Note: The postings this year will not include angels, fountains or horses because that have been included in previous years.)
I begin with the legendary founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus, being nursed by a she-wolf. Their images can be found all over Rome.

STREET ART in Rome Advent Calendar - Merry Christmas
I have enjoyed photographing STREET ART in Rome
to share with you in an Advent Calendar for 2015.
Have a wonderful Christmas season.
During the new year keep your eyes and heart open
to experience the many wonderful things
that surround us in our neighborhoods.
The Word became flesh and blood,
and moved into the neighbourhood.
We saw the glory with our own eyes,
the one-of-a-kind glory,
like Father, like Son,
Generous inside and out,
true from start to finish.
John 1: 14
(The Message version of the Bible
by John Peterson)
And the Word was made flesh,
and dwelt among us,
and we beheld his glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,
full of grace and truth.
John 1:14 (King James Version)
