This morning I facilitated a visit from Babbo Natale (the Italian Santa Claus) to the younger students at school. All children in nursery through 1st grade presented Babbo Natale with a gift that will be given to children living with HIV here in Rome. Babbo Natale left with large bags of presents that will brighten the faces of many children this Christmas.

Larry, hope you don't mind that I linked to this story - when you told me about it last night I dinner it didn't quite register. What a wonderful way to teach children about so many things. As Eric says whoever came up with the idea deserves a special Christmas gift. But then seeing this was probably gift enough.

How dear for the little ones to give the gifts to Babbo for other little ones- utterly precious. And what a lovely gift you've given them to remember the truest gifts of kindness and generosity.
