Wisdom Tooth is Gone

Today I had a wisdom tooth removed. Here I am with Dr. Antonio Pasqualini right after the tooth came out. The tooth had been pushing against the tooth next door and causing pain. Before Christmas, I had a root canal done on that neighboring tooth. The next step will be to repair the damage caused to that tooth by the wisdom tooth.

youch! This is why I haven't been to the dentist in such a long time. . . I'm too afraid of what they'll find! However, my cat did just have all of his fangs removed.

Glad you're enjoying Italy. Feel better.

I'm sorry that you've been having dental problems. From my own experience, having a "wisdom tooth" extracted can actually give you MORE WISDOM if it relieves any pain. I hope your adjacent tooth will be okay.
On a happier note: Have you and Vincenzo seen the hundreds of thousands of "brightly colored balls" that cascaded down the Spanish Steps on Wednesday and filled the boat-shaped Barcaccia fountain in the piazza below the SSs?
I wish you a complete and speedy recovery from your extraction. Please take good care of yourself.
Love,
+Em

as long as the dentist is good it doesn't matter what language they speak! I had one pulled years ago and I needed an oral surgeon. The procedure was relatively painless that I asked him to pull another one! (I was kidding of course.)

Hope you are feeling better and able to eat everything well.
